Bmerc Garaj owner Ercan Osman Özgün supported by the Hate Crime lobby ,generated an 80 day car repair truma with an excessive £1800-lablour charge bill

Mr.Ercan Osman Özgün,

Regrettably in my 70 years I have not had such a problematic, prolonged experience with any tradesman;never mind the fact that you have deeply disappointed us as you happen to be my countryman !

5 months later ,you have failed to respond to my please to resolve the 07/02/2024 the excessive charged billing dispute; as an established motor trade business Bmerc (BG) you prefer not to join any trade org. as an independent repair garage. What is more you rejected my offer ,a their phone call for joining The Motor Ombudsman and will not accept to take part in ADR dispute Resolution Scheme in order order to reach a settelement; legal action may be the way forward.

I strongly suggest you as BM MD consider the following measures;

  1. Reduce your 07/07/2024 invoice to “reasonable ,acceptable trade standard” as per quotes I sent; your unfounded allegations that increased “labour charges with “Swapped parts over” The replacement  engine £1335- was the best ,most expensive engine I could find ! you claim it had “damaged components”; valuable saleable parts; ex. diesel pump sells for £295- ,TurboCharger unit £250-,4 dci  injectors £200- typical priced on sale on eBay
  2. Seller strongly refutes your allegations as engine with 31K miles was delivered on a “pallet” from an established eBay Seller “tradepartsnortheast.com” who has”Excellent eBay Feedback! You had an ulterior motive ;in order to increase labour charge and “confiscate” my “original engine”with 82K miles-low for a dci engine – intension to “kill two birds with one stone”!

Also consider that I may give you as MD (with the 5 month “trauma , inconvenience – I will ask for car rental costs to be comsidered by the court-and extra costs that you have tried and injected in our lives “) will result in the most  Negative Feedback for Bmerc Car Sales Ltd.

  1. Make a reduction in your invoice for my “original engine” ,done 82K miles only -low miles for dci engine-of at least £500- has valuable ,saleable parts ; Turbo Charger , Diesel İnjection Pump, 4 injectors, Dual Mass FlyWheel ,engine block & other parts kept in your garage!

The replacement engine I bought from eBay on 29/09/2023 was the “best ,most expensive” ;

BG inspected and accepted “pallet delivery” ,-no allegations of “damaged components” at the time on 03/10/2023 -bought with an eBay Seller’s “months’s guarantee” backed up by eBay “Moneyback Guarantee” both left to Expire as you deliberately postponed repair on 25/20 ,the 37th day at BG for another 21 days ,claiming mechanic and yourself had gonne on holiday until 15/11 – will have to prove this in court- knowing full well both “guarantees” would expire on 03/11 ,one month after delivery as a repraisal to my engine purchase;and refusal to accept £1800- for an engine from a breaker’s yard; checked to find priced from  £500- that you would test for two weeks before delivery. On invoice you claim this £1800- price to be for a re-condition engine !

I categorically insist this price was for a used engine and not re-conditioned !

You did not even mention “re-conditioned” in our engine wuote telephone conversation when quoting me for a used engine to replace mine!

11 days later ,I phoned ,expecting news that repair was finished ; instead you informed me  “Flywheel”was needed- new Clutch too.

Car was in BG on 18/09 ,BG your mechanic had enogh time in 11 days to inspect/check my engine until 29/10,to you could tell me “Flywheel was needed”;I could have bought the original “Dual Mass Flywheel” (told main dealer price £700-)together on the 32K miles engine,saving time and money ! This was Another obstacle to postpone repairs;

Instead you delayed  this “faulty parts” request till 12/10 with an offer to buy cheap replacement “Rigid FlyWheel”(RFW) for £300-.(plus £96-Clutch =£396- )I checked to find price of RFW +Clutch for £238-  alot cheaper than your quoted £300- price ,infact £158- less. 37th day Another repraisal ,further repair delay by 21 days ,claim; “mechanic gonne abroad ,on Return 3 weeks later on 15/11 -“58 days by then. Inconvenienced with no car to drive for 43 days ,Exasperated with the “extra profit” war you waged on me, I went abroad. At no point did I tell you I “live abroad”,you added as an “excuse” to your 07/02/2024 invoice.

It is not an accepted performance ,unheard of to “swap a customer bought engine”in months !

You have used excuses to expediate ,postpone repairs time and again ,that stretched to 80 days so as to deliberately  let my valueable “no risk engine guarantees ” to “Expire” .Left me without any redress ,eBay refund request, Seller’s “late Feedback complaint response” as an eBay account holder for 22 years!

BG were Not concerned,irresponsible,laxed ,casual” as your admitted  usual style ,as my money was at risk ,Not yours !

  1. Further Reduce your 07/02/2024 invoice with the £204- Fixed Penalty Notice issued at BG premises on 3rd day at BG garage address ,on 21/09/2023 ;that penalty ticket was not even mentioned to me on 25/10 when I came to BG ;was in fact kept from me ! 

          I have had to pay the increased fine to LBBarnet on 12/02/2024 to stop “repossesion order”

I hope you relieve my good neighbour Mr.Mehmet Emin ,who collected the car ,that you claim to have released “without a penny being paid”of the pressure. 

After so much inconvenience ,  “delaying tactics “, in order to promote “Good-Will”,I ordered Xmas Gift :£107- worth of Whisky & choclates ,Amazon delivered to BG garage. Not even mentioned this !Without further ado, your generated sad saga will continue as everyone’s patience exhausted ;if you reduce your invoice I will settle it today; otherwise your legal action in Small Claims Court will continue for months, spilling the beans ,all the Bmerc Car Sales Ltd. trade “misdemeanors” exposed to the social media.
